With the first quarter of 2022 concluded, we have exciting news to share!
The PolNorRheuma database has surpassed the 500-patient mark in Poland! These 520+ registered patients benefit from first-rate monitoring and care.
It’s very exciting to see that, beyond these immediate benefits, researchers will have an easy time using this structured data in studies that will no doubt further advance Rheumatological care.
Also, it’s always good to mention: all information regarding treatment, disease activity, and PROs (Patient-Reported Outcomes) is stored anonymously and safely.
Blood Bank Running
Our dedicated blood bank is running, boasting nearly 200 patients serum samples, and also including synovial fluid samples.
This reserve already provides valuable information, enriching our database. It paints a wider picture of the health condition of our patients and how it may change over time. Also, further research on biomarkers is facilitated.
GoTreatIT Expert Translation is Complete
The translation of the GoTreatIT (GTI) software into Polish has been completed. The process was particularly complex due to the high amount of medical and technical terminology which had to be carefully translated and proofread. A solid and durable foundation for a quality registry has been launched.
Now Polish healthcare professionals are only a simple “copy and paste” away from organizing patient data into useful notes and practical health indicators.
Next Steps
We expect this next quarter to have meetings with important stakeholders and even more patients and centers enrolled, along with new functionalities on the PolNor Rheuma website.
